The overall objective of the programme is to strengthen institutions for transboundary water management in the Lake Victoria region. While Specific Objectives are to improve the participants' ability and skills for collaborative transboundary water resources management; influence the participants' home organization to effectively fulfill their mandate in terms of transboundary water resources management activities; and support emerging and ongoing transboundary water-related management processes in which the participants are involved.
